The Role

The Wealth Advisor is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of comprehensive wealth management services for Wealth Management Services’ (WMS) most sophisticated and complex client relationships.  The position serves as the principal point of contact for WMS clients and are responsible for overall client service delivery and client satisfaction.  We are looking for candidates who possess a strong command of sophisticated wealth management practices and strategies and are experienced in developing new and growing existing client relationships.  The Wealth Advisor will work closely with WMS internal and external professionals to deliver proactive and highly specialized wealth management solutions for WMS clients. What You Will Be Doing

  • Acting as a consultative and trusted advisor, anticipating client needs and providing world-class service to our clients in an accurate and professional manner
  • Communicating extensively and proactively with WMS clients
  • Helping WMS clients articulate long-term financial and family goals and develop and implement plans to position clients for optimal personal and financial outcomes
  • Maintaining a deep and up-to-date knowledge of WMS clients’ financial and family situation
  • Preparing presentations and facilitating ongoing client reviews in close coordination with other WMS professionals
  • Serving as a thought leader and internal resource on various wealth management topics and supporting the development of the WMS team
  • Building connections with high net worth contacts in your community through active participation in organizations, associations and events to increase your network exposure
  • Coordinating and collaborating with the WMS team to develop sophisticated and highly personalized delivery of comprehensive wealth management services
  • Reviewing estate planning documents, preparing materials for client presentations, and analyzing complex planning issues
  • Consulting with attorneys, accountants, and other advisors on financial, tax and estate planning needs
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with outside centers of influence such as CPAs, attorneys, local advisory board members, civic associations, and other individuals and organizations that will enhance WMS business development efforts
  • Staying abreast of changing economic, legal, financial planning, investment trends, and general market and business issues

What We Are Looking For:

Attributes and Abilities

  • You possess comprehensive, specialized knowledge and understanding of the wealth management industry, practices and issues
  • You have a strong background in general investment matters, tax and estate planning issues
  • You have extensive knowledge of trust administration and investment management
  • You have a proven track record in business development, sales, and client service
  • You have a demonstrated capability to understand clients financial situations and personal circumstances
  • You are able to deliver distinctive and thoughtful client service in a manner that secures client confidence
  • You embrace our culture of entrepreneurship and teamwork

Experience and Skills

  • 5-10 years of relevant wealth management experience preferred
  • OR significant coursework and demonstrated interest in finance

Education and Designations

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred
  • Advanced Degree JD or MBA preferred
  • Professional Designation (CFP, CTFA, CFA, CPA, etc.) preferred
